Embarking on a journey from the tranquil village of Gaacii in Western Oromia, Gimbi, Ethiopia, Abbi Iticha found inspiration in simplicity. Shaped by a childhood without electric light and tap water, Abbi witnessed the creation of Daadhii, a honey wine crafted with humble ingredients—honey, water, and Gesho/hops.
Heritage and Expertise
Rooted in non-written instructions from Abbi's mother and skills inherited from a grandmother, Daadhii encapsulates generational wisdom. Abbi's exposure to these traditions became a cherished ritual during family gatherings, evolving into a timeless recipe enriched by familial knowledge.

Motivated by the encouragement of family and friends, particularly inspired by her youngest son, Ebissa, Abbi turned a personal passion into a thriving business.
